Dr. Patricia Phan
“My patients are very important to me. I am committed to providing high quality dental care to each and every one of them. I love having a job that allows me to connect to my patients and make a difference in their lives.”
Dr. Phan brings a personal touch to the care she offers. She believes that open communication between patient and doctor is critical for maintaining lasting relationships and making informed decisions. Along with preventative care and patient education, Dr. Phan believes that good dental habits will ensure a lifetime of excellent oral health. Dr. Phan enjoys creating positive experiences for her patients, and whether she’s helping a patient transform his smile or giving a child her first dental exam, her goal is to make every dental visit pleasant.
Dr. Phan earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Classical Civilization from the University of California Davis and graduated with the highest honors. She completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of California San Francisco School of Dentistry in 2001. After working as an associate dentist for seven years at private practices in the Peninsula and South Bay, she purchased her Los Gatos office in 2008 and transformed it into a family-focused dental practice.
As an established dentist, Dr. Phan is a member of the following organizations:

- American Dental Association
She is also certified in laser dentistry and Invisalign, and she has completed various continuing education courses in cosmetic dentistry. Staying up to date on the changes within dentistry is an important part of providing patients with comfortable, contemporary care.
When she's not helping patients improve their oral health, Dr. Phan likes to travel, read, sail, and scuba dive. Now she spends most of her time raising two young kids. She also provides volunteer dental work with local charities.
Susan Perez
Registered Dental Hygienist
Susan has been a dental hygienist for 15 years and she still enjoys it after all this time. When she's not in the office she enjoys spending time with her family, playing with her dogs, and gardening.
Beatriz Sandoval
Dental Assistant
Beatriz has been a dental assistant since 2002. She loves what she does. In her free time she enjoys cooking traditional meals for her family and going for walks in the park.
Jasmine Orocio
Registered Dental Assistant
Jasmine has been working as a registered dental assistant since 2007 and enjoys working with our patients to help them achieve their oral health goals. She loves being part of the Los Gatos Family Dentistry team and stays current with continuing education to provide the best service for each patient. Outside of work, Jasmine enjoys spending quality time outdoors with her family.
Amy Maxwell
Front Office/Registered Dental Assistant
Amy began working in a dental office as a senior in high school. She has over 21 years of dental experience in working in the front office and in the back assisting the doctor. She enjoys meeting and talking with people but most of all, she really loves making sure patients have a great dental experience.
Amy has been happily married for 13 years and has two wonderful boys. When she's not on mom duty, she enjoys baking, glass etching, going to amusement parks and doing jigsaw puzzles. Besides her family, she loves all things involving Pirates, Halloween and most of all DISNEY! Amy will always be a big kid at heart.
Dr. Phan is a WONDERFUL dentist! She took her time and made sure that everything was done properly and done very thoroughly with me! She even let my son, who is only 15 months old, sit on my lap at one point so that he could start getting used to being in the chair. She even gave him a special little toothbrush just for him, counted his teeth, and took a digital picture of his 13 teeth! I was very impressed with her digital x-rays and digital pictures! It really gave me peace of mind to know that she has everything saved and that if I had to go another dentist, we can compare things very easily if necessary.
I was visiting family in the area when I went to see her and she came very highly recommended! Even though I live about 6 hours away by car, I will be trying to visit my family every 6 months, just so that I can see her and not have to go see someone else. I can not say how much I actually enjoyed my dentist experience which is saying a lot since I had avoided a dentist for almost 3 years!!! I will be going to Dr. Phan as often as my family visits allow!
